As a result of traveling to scores of destinations including the South Pacific, Australia, Europe, Alaska, Canada/New England, and many island nations within the Caribbean, my clients feel comfortable trusting me to plan their perfect cruise or land based vacation.

Australia and New Zealand Specialist

In February 2023 I finally had the chance to revisit the country where I spent six years of my middle and high school years, Australia!  While originally scheduled for 2020, and after completing the Aussie Specialist and New Zealand Specialist courses via their respective travel specialist programs, we were actually hosting a Distinctive Voyages group aboard Silversea's Silver Whisper for 16 nights from Auckland to Sydney.  This time we weren't just going for a 4 day weekend!

While only seeing Auckland and its surrounding area in 2020, the cruise gave us the opportunity to see the highlights of New Zealand as we circumnavigated the two islands.  Incredible cities and unbelievable cruising through Milford Sound were some of the highlights.  Our private tour of the Parliament in Wellington with our Distinctive Voyages guests was also a high-scoring event.

The opportunity to visit multiple cities and destinations during a cruise is one of the benefits of that mode of travel.  After crossing the Tasman Sea we were treated to Hobart, Port Arthur, an overnight in Melbourne, and finally, three nights in Sydney.  The capper of the whole trip actually started on board early in our journey.  On our first Silversea excursion in Tauranga, NZ, we sat across from a couple of shipmates on our trolley ride to lunch and got to chatting.  Turns out they were Aussies and the wife had lived in the same town as I did when I was a teenager.  We made fast friends for the rest of the sailing.  On our second to last day in Sydney, they picked us up at the ferry at Manly Beach and treated us to lunch in their private beach club in Newport Beach.  We had dessert at their home and they then proceeded to give us a tour of my old stomping grounds in the suburbs of Sydney.  Travel brings us all together!
